My name is Garrett, and I've been practicing martial arts in some form for most of my life. I fell in love with Jiu-Jitsu during spring break in college when a friend took me to my first class at the Charles Gracie Academy. I signed up at Megaton Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Phoenix as soon as I got back to Arizona State, and I've been hooked ever since.
I decided to start Ground Fighter in 2009 because I was fed up with skulls, wings, grenades, and other overly aggressive designs that most brands were producing. Since then, my focus has been on designing gear and apparel with a clean look that will last a long time and not cost a fortune. I want each item you buy to be your new favorite shirt, spats, rashguard, etc. that you wear over and over until you're ready for a new favorite.
